Even theaters in Mormon Utah County were packed to the brim with sold out audiences of women anticipating the sexy male dancing of Magic Mike. Almost every erotic scene of the film, about the lives of men starring in a male review show, was met with whistles, whoops, and hollers.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

It’s only been ten years since director Sam Raimi brought the web-slinging, comic book favorite Spider-Man to life in an adaptation starring Tobey Maguire as the geeky-teenager-turned-super-hero, Peter Parker. That film and its two sequels stuck pretty close to the source material and gave us movies that were as delightfully campy as they were cheesy.
